The cause of Dali Wassink's death is also quite widely discussed by netizens. After some time it was finally revealed that the Thai-Dutch man was involved in a single accident. The accident occurred at around 02.00 WITA and was reported to the police 30 minutes later.

Initially, the father of one child was said to be riding a Kawasaki motorbike with registration number DK 5555 KSW. He was riding his motorbike alone, moving from north to south.
While on Sunset Road , Seminyak, Kuta, the motorbike he was riding suddenly swerved to the right. He also hit a road divider because he was suspected of being out of control (OC) or losing control.
"Yes, that's right, he was riding a motorbike. He had an out-of-control accident and fell on his own. Witnesses at the crime scene said he fell on his own and hit a barrier," said Head of the Denpasar Police Traffic Unit, Commissioner Made Teja Dwi Permana, when confirmed Thursday (18/7) evening.
Police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident. However, based on current information, no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
"It was a single accident, the cause is not yet known. We are still investigating whether he was sleepy or something else. What is certain is that he was not involved in another vehicle. Witnesses saw him suddenly fall and he was the only victim. Witnesses cannot determine for sure what "He was speeding or not. What he saw when he fell," he added.

As a result of the accident, Dali's entire body was seriously injured. He suffered abrasions on his chest, back, fractures to his jaw, left collarbone, elbow and ribs.
The man who was born on June 6 2002 breathed his last breath at the BIMC Kuta Hospital. Now it is reported that Dali's body has been picked up by the family but it is not yet known where he will be buried.
