Boy William and Ayu Ting Ting have been friends for quite a long time, starting since they started their careers in the entertainment world. Although they once had a fight that made them not greet each other for years, now the two have reconciled and are close again.

On several occasions, Boy William was asked about his relationship with Ayu Ting Ting . In an interview with Densu on YouTube, Boy answered questions about his feelings carefully. "Yes, if God wills, anything can happen. She is a cool friend," he said.
"Do you have any special feelings for him?" Densu asked. Boy replied, "He's really cool."
On another occasion, Kiky Saputri also asked who was the right woman to be Boy William's wife. Once again, Boy mentioned Ayu's name. However, religious differences became an obstacle for them. "For now, you know. Your sister (Ayu Ting Ting) yes. Because there are many differences, so it has to be slow," he said.
Interestingly, Ayu also once asked Boy directly about which female artist is most suitable to be a wife. Boy's answer remains the same. "Not because you chose me, but because I know who you really are that people don't know," Boy explained to Ayu.
