Actor Abidzar Al Ghifari recently took a firm step by sending a warning to two social media accounts that allegedly insulted his mother, Umi Pipik . In his statement, Abidzar and his attorney gave the two accounts 2x24 hours to contact and meet with them.
Abidzar said that he had thought about the matter seriously before taking action. He did not want to rush to judge, but wanted to conduct tabayun and listen to clarification from the parties concerned.
"After I considered it with the team and legal counsel, finally an agreement was reached to take this to a more serious step," said Abidzar in the Buncit area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (13/4).
"I sent a warning to the two accounts, this is a form of my devotion to Umi," he added.
Abidzar is ready to be the front guard defending the family, especially in matters of the mother. He considers this step as a form of devotion presented to his mother on her birthday.
"This is my personal devotion to my mother on my birthday today, I am giving my own devotion to my mother," he said.
According to Abidzar, the comments made by the two accounts have gone too far. He even did not hesitate to take legal action if his warning was ignored. "This is too much, it has crossed the line and I will take legal action," he said.
Abidzar also added that this effort was made as a warning for everyone to be wiser in using social media. Especially not to make comments that are detrimental, especially those that are insulting. "This can be a warning to everyone to be wise in using social media," said Abidzar Al Ghifari.
