Brilio.net/en - In Chongqing, China, the Lehe ledu Wildlife Zoo set up a new concept nothing less than short of absolutely frightening, and not to mention a little ironic. The visitors are paying to be locked up inside a cage and the animals are running around in total freedom.
Tigers, white tigers, bears and lions are at the program of this very particular tour. The vehicles in which people are locked in can be rather a bus or a van which walls are made out of wire fence, to experience a few moments of true wild life!

The zoo spokeswoman Chan Liang explained: We wanted to give our visitors the thrill of being stalked and attacked by the big cats but with, of course, none of the risks. The guests are warned to keep their fingers and hands inside the cage at all times because a hungry tiger wouldnt know the difference between them and breakfast.
Indeed, because there is no glass and because the animals are sometimes approaching only by a few centimetres close to the walls, the visitor is asked not to put hands on the wire fence, at risk of losing part of it!

In order to give them a real experience of seeing the dangerous predators as close as possible, the buses and vans are all equipped with small opening to pass meat through. Pieces of meat or even living chickens are used to attracted the felines as close to the audience as possible. With the help of a stick, the visitors can thus feed the animals themselves and have the closest look at them!

Open only last year, the zoo already had an incredible success and according to the directors, the trips are fully booked for the next three months! Many tourists, Chinese and others, were tempted by the thriving experience and very enthusiastic to discover what it feels like to be on the other side. Its like nothing Ive ever experienced before in a zoo, told a visitor, Tao Jen, Were not looking at them, theyre looking at us and were lunch.
