Brilio.net/en - An enigmatic sealed basement was discovered beneath an old London orphanage in 2006, and what is inside will make even the most fearless spectator stop in their tracks.

Hundreds of large crates were buried in the basement, containing thousands of creepy artifacts, otherworldly specimens, and mysterious diaries. Some items are just strange while some others are rather disturbing.

Those items are now dubbed the Merrylin Cryptid Collection. They name it after a man to whom they belonged, a so-called Crypto-naturalist, Fringe Zoologist and Xenoarcheologist Thomas Theodore Merrylin.

Well, you might have guessed what it’s all about. But if you don’t, no worries, because we, honestly, haven’t figured it out ourselves.

Anyway, Mr. Thomas Theodore Merrylin, who was born in Hellingshire, England in 1782 to a rich aristocrat and biologist, has decided to dedicate his life to the collection and study of these weird and wonderful specimens. Are they real or fake? We have no idea. The only thing we do know for sure is that they’re pretty odd. And kind of cool, actually.
