Brilio.net/en - How often are you pissed by deleted scenes of a film due to a censorship? Quite often, you say? Well, you are not the only one.

A London filmmaker Charlie Lyne was sick of the censorship of the UKs rating board. Upon knowing the British Board of Film Certification (BBFC) has commited to watch every minute of every submitted film, Charlie crowdfunded a movie of paint drying for BBFC to rate.

While every movie released in the U.K must receive a certificate from the board and it will cost you 7.09/minute to get your movie rated, Charlie managed to raise 5,936, which was enough to sumbit a 607 minute film (10 hours and 7 minute) which the censors had to sit through.

Charlie initiated the project as he wanted to questionwhether the government agencies should be involved to regulate an entire art form.

The board had evaluated the film and gave a U rating or no offensive or harmful material contained inside.

Charlie admitted that he himself never watched his whole film and in case you are wondering, the color paint he picked for the film was Briliant White because of its certain Tom Sawyer charm, matched the simplicity of the premise.
