Through a post on the TikTok account @kongregasimsc, he shared an emotional moment when he met his mother after four decades of separation. At the beginning of his post, he shared the long journey he took to reunite with his biological mother .
" 16 hours of my journey to meet him who left me for 40 years ," he wrote in the video caption.
She traveled by plane from Rome to Malaysia. Although thousands of kilometers had to be traveled, it did not make the woman afraid to meet her mother again.
" During the trip, my feelings were mixed, I was restless and it felt like a dream, " he said.

Arriving in Kota Kinabalu, feelings of anxiety and happiness were at their peak. He couldn't wait to meet his mother who was waiting at the pick-up point.
" I've arrived in Kota Kinabalu and my feelings are even more confused considering that he was already waiting in the pick-up area ," he explained.
The woman recalled the time her mother left her when she was just six months old. There was no news or communication for years, until they were finally reunited two years ago through social media.
" Yes, she is my real mom who has not been heard from for 40 years, " he explained.

The meeting was a very meaningful moment for him. After decades of only being able to see his mother through photos, now he could hug her in person.
