Brilio.net/en - Now that the world is experiencing global warming, the weather can be stiflingly hot and all you want to do is jumping into a cool swimming pool. Air conditioner or fan is a good solution but there is another way to get rid of the sticky feel and its free!

Human bodies have acupuncture points that can resolve disease symptoms if we know where to press. Here are four pressure points to cool you down:

1. Back of the neck

This is the first acupoint you need to touch to lower your body heat. Put a wet towel or wet cloth on the back of your neck. The wet cloth will neutralize the heat and instantly cool your body. If you dont want to use wet cloths, you can place a cold drinking can or bottle on this spot. This can also give an extra energy if you feel exhausted.

2. Inner elbow

The inner side of your elbows have points that can help you lower high body temperatures. Not many people know about this, so you can start spreading the knowledge, too. Place a cold can, bottle, or wet towel on this spot for about 10 minutes. This action can tighten the blood vessels that were widened due to overheating. Youll feel the chill soon.

3. Wrist

Touching your wrists can be the next step to lowering your body heat. Put your wrists in cold water for 30 seconds, preferable on running water, and you can enjoy the cool sensation for the next hour. So make sure your wrists get wet, too, when you wash your hand.

4. Sole

The acupoints on your sole can be the last resort to make your body feel cooler. Wearing footwear can also cause the overheating so taking off your socks or shoes can help neutralize your body heat. To optimize the act, soak your feet in a bowl of cold water.
