Brilio.net/en - If you are a fan to Miss Universe pageant, then you must have watched the most horrible mistake ever made in the worlds beauty pageant history since its first formation in 1952. Steve Harvey, who was the MC, announced Miss Columbia as the Miss Universe 2015 while she was supposed to be the first runner-up. It made Miss Colombia 2015, Ariadna Guiterrez, worn the most-wanted tiara for only seconds before Steve Harvey reappeared and informed that he had mistakenly read Colombia for Philippines.
The mistake had brought the funny presenter to humiliation as tons of memes and GIFs were made from the incident and spread all over the world. However last Tuesday (19/1), a month after the event, Steve Harvey invited Miss Colombia to his show, The Steve Harvey Show, to make it up in front of the world.
In the interview Steve Harvey was apologizing to Ariadna in tears for it had been a really hard time for him to carry such a burden and being blamed and hated in social medias. Ariadna admitted that it was also hard for her to face the truth that she was not the Miss Universe 2015. The feeling she had when she was crowned was all mix of happiness, relieved and proud of being able to get the crown again for Colombia and after the hard work she did to achieve her big dream.
So when Harvey announced that the Miss Universe was Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Ariadna was disappointed and felt like she needed some time to spend with family and away from the blitz. She said she thought Harvey was about to make some joke but obviously he didnt.
But Ariadna took Harveys apology and broke the ice with some jokes. She even apologized to Harvey for the angry reactions from Colombians to Harvey regarding the incident. It seems like Ariadna really has gold heart that worth to be crowned. Although not becoming the Miss Universe, Ariadna can be the first runner-up who stays in peoples heart. As she said in the show, This is our destiny.
