Leonardo DiCaprio plans to go to the Forest in Sumatera, what’s up?

Brilio.net/en - Leonardo DiCaprio, a Hollywood actor and an environmental activist, stated his plan to visit Sumatra, specifically in South Sumatra, to see the wealth of floras and faunas in this area.

His intention to visit the forest in Sumatera was informed in the middle of the Global Forum Landscape event in Paris, France.

He focuses on the environmental preservation and he states his intention to visit Sumatera, said Alex after attending the Global Forum Landscape in Palais de Congres, Paris, Sunday (6/12).

As quoted from brilio.net/en from Antara, Alex said that his meeting with Leo, the leading actor of Titanic, was to discuss about several things related to environmental issues, such as the wildfire in Sumatera which occurred some time ago.

According to Alex, one of the strategies to deal with the wildfire and ecosystem preservation is by applying landscape based management, which had been initiated by some parties such as environmental organizations, businesses, and local societies.

Leonardo DiCaprio was in Paris to attend international conference on Climate Change held from November 30th to December 11th, 2015 in Bourget, Paris, France. In this event, DiCaprio urged the world leaders in all over the world to take real steps for dealing with climate issues.

The time is limited. Thats why the real steps are necessary to realize in order to decrease the emissions, said DiCaprio.
