Brilio.net/en - Sometimes we park our car in the crowded parking lots but cannot lock it by the remote key locks. Dont blame your remote battery too soon. It is possible that there could be a new criminal method going on there, like what happened in one rest area along Jagorawi freeway, south of Jakarta, few months back.
A man parked his car and tried to lock it by using the remote lock as he walked by but failed to lock it. So he locked the car manually instead. This means the alarm system and central lock are not active and the thief is free to perform his act without a sound. When the car owner went back to his car he found that the door lock has been broken and his laptop he put on the back seat was already gone.
Most probably someone was doing a radio jamming that controlled from somewhere near using a device called Radio Jammer. The device was used to distract the key remote signal. At first Radio Jammer was designed to distract radio frequencies, especially foreign radiosto block any sound from coming out of it. These days, this Radio Jammer is used to steal cars, or take something from inside the car without getting caught. With this device, alarm and central lock system can be disabled entirely.
If you ever find yourself in this situation, there is only one easy solution to it: cancel your plan to park in that area. Move away your car far from the reach of that radio jammer frequency and do not risk anything. At least its the only way to avoid you from being a victim of a possible crime.
