One of his recent works is a Temple Street miniature. It’s made after a real-life apartment block in a densely-populated settlement in Kowloon City, Hong Kong.

Smith built his miniature apartment using used cardboards, which were finely carved and shaped to form the details. He also used fibreboard and paint to embody every detail in the actual Kowloon City apartment buildings with their moldy walls, filthy windows, graffiti, tiny ad-boards and other details that look realistic.
