Hello Brilio friends! Anyone confused about where to have breakfast? You really have to come here. Warung Ijo is a simple food stall that serves typical Javanese food. Warung Ijo has been around for 48 years. The all-green concept in this shop has been implemented for a long time and has become its own characteristic.
"I'm the second generation, so I've known about the green stall for a long time, the door has never been changed since the beginning." said Mrs. Siti, the shop owner.
Brongkos is a favorite food at Warung Ijo. Apart from brongkos, there are 42 other types of side dishes which are served using recipes from Mrs. Samirah's mother-in-law, Mrs. Siti.
"Here, it's typical Javanese food, especially the long-cooked food, buntil botok, dried anchovies, brongkos, basically the Javanese old-fashioned style that I usually have." he said.
Apart from food, there are also tamarind and kencur drinks which are favorites at Warung Ijo. Tamarind drink is a recipe left by her mother-in-law. With affordable prices, the dishes are always sought after by buyers.
"The price for each portion ranges from 10-15 thousand, 10-20 thousand or so, depending on the side dishes and vegetables." he explained.
