Happy news came from the General Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) , who officially holds a doctorate after completing his S-3 education at Airlangga University, Surabaya. In his doctoral exam, the former President of Indonesia who is also AHY's father, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, gave a speech.
"I asked if there were any other people who gave the speech, because if it was just me, people would say this is an orange eating an orange," said SBY as quoted by brilio.net from Airlangga University's YouTube, Tuesday (8/10).
In his short speech, SBY said that his beloved son received the title purely through his own efforts without any interference from SBY.
"Although AHY has the honor of holding a doctoral degree, this is because of his hard work, I have not interfered. Although we rarely meet because of carrying out state duties, of course he does not neglect the obligations that are being carried out," said SBY.
