Wall paint is the main choice to give a new and fresh look to the walls of the house. With a variety of colors and types, wall paint can drastically change the atmosphere of a room. However, behind the beauty offered, problems often arise when wall paint accidentally stains clothes.

Wall paint stains on clothes usually not only ruin the appearance, but also raise concerns about how to clean them. Wall paint, especially oil-based paint, tends to stick tightly to the fabric fibers and requires extra effort to remove. Although water-based paint is a little easier to deal with, the stains that stick can still leave marks if not handled properly.

Faced with this situation, many people are looking for effective ways to remove paint stains from their clothes. Like Facebook user Fitri Rahmawati, who shared how to wash clothes stained with paint so that they are clean without a trace. Reported by BrilioFood from Fitri Rahmawati's Facebook on Monday (10/14), she removed the paint stains with dish soap .

Well, this dishwashing soap can effectively remove paint stains if mixed with hot water. For a clearer method, dissolve the dishwashing soap with hot water first. After that, put in the part of the shirt that is stained with paint. While soaking, brush it for a while.

Then let the clothes soak for 10 minutes only. Well, this soapy water will help to remove the paint stains by itself. On the other hand, using hot water also helps to maximize the process. As a result, there are no paint stains left behind.

In addition to using dish soap, there are other ingredients and methods that can be used to remove paint stains on clothes. If the paint is oil-based, olive oil or coconut oil can be used. Apply the oil to the stain and let it soak in for a few minutes to loosen the paint. Then, sprinkle some baking soda on the area and scrub gently with an old toothbrush. After that, wash the clothes with detergent in hot water. By using easy-to-find kitchen ingredients, paint stains on clothes can be treated more quickly and efficiently.
