Brilio.net - The burner on a gas stove has the main function of supporting the pots and pans above it. Usually stoves are made of sturdy, heat-resistant iron so they can withstand heavy loads. However, the downside is that the stove can get dirty quickly if the frequency of use is high enough.

In general, oil spills or cooked food are the main causes of dirty stove stoves . How could it not be, these various kinds of stains will be directly exposed to the hot stove fire. When this happens, the dirt in the stove burner can immediately burn and dry out. As a result, the dry stain can become crusty and difficult to remove. However, that doesn't mean the stove can't be as clean as new.

A number of people usually clean stove burners using a mixture of vinegar and baking soda. These two ingredients are considered to soften the scale on the stove burner, making it easier to brush.

However, if you run out of vinegar and baking soda at home, you can use other ingredients that are no less effective, you know. An Instagram user @desi_daily once used this material to remove scale from a stove stove. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that there were two simple ingredients used. Well, one of these two ingredients comes from the kitchen, you know.

Reported by BrilioFood from the Instagram account @desi_daily.vlog on Thursday (30/5), the kitchen ingredient in question is salt. Meanwhile, another ingredient used as a cleaner is toothpaste. So, these two ingredients can be directly mixed together in a container, then add a little hot water.

If all the ingredients have been mixed evenly, apply it directly to all the crusty parts of the stove. After smearing it evenly, let it sit for 10 minutes. This process will make the crust on the stove burner start to soften by itself.

Once it has been left to sit, scrub all the crusty parts of the stove burner. It's best to use a rough brush or wire wool so that stubborn crust can be removed completely. If there is crust that is difficult to brush, add more cleaning fluid. Then continue rubbing until clean.

Only then rinse under running water. Well, a stove that has been cleaned will look shinier because it is free of scale. Before you are ready to install it, don't forget to dry the stove first using a cloth or dry it in the sun.

Basically, a mixture of toothpaste and salt can be effective in removing scale on stovetops because of the combination of abrasive properties and chemicals contained in it. Toothpaste contains chemicals such as detergents, enzymes and other cleaning agents which can dissolve dirt and oil stuck to the surface of the stove. Meanwhile, salt can also help break down fat and oil which are often the main components of scale on stove stoves.
