Brilio.net - Dishwashing soap is a very important cleaning product in the household. Its function is not only to clean plates, but also various other kitchen utensils such as glasses, spoons, forks, and cooking utensils. The advantage of dishwashing soap lies in its ability to remove grease and food stains. This makes dishwashing soap a cleaning tool that is always in the kitchen.

Due to its regular use, dishwashing soap can run out quickly and increase household expenses. To overcome this problem, people often add water to make it more. Some also add certain ingredients such as salt or baking soda . The addition of these ingredients aims to maintain the cleaning power and the ability to produce foam, so that the soap remains effective even though the volume increases.

While this method can save money, keep in mind that adding water and other ingredients will change the texture of the soap. The soap that was originally thick will become more liquid. This change in consistency can result in using more soap each time you wash.

So, even if you manage to increase the volume of soap, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will save more money. It's important to find a balance between saving and the effectiveness of dish soap.

To overcome this, you can imitate a simple method shared by YouTube Live user HAQQ. In one of the videos uploaded, he admitted to using other ingredients to increase dish soap. Instead of salt or baking soda, he used bar soap as an additional ingredient.

As reported by BrilioFood on Friday (20/9), he used 650 ml of dishwashing soap. The method is, pour the soap into a jug or container. Then rinse the inside of the soap plastic with water to remove any remaining soap that is still stuck. Pour the water into the container or jug.

Next, prepare another container. Then put the bar of soap into it. Dissolve it with 1 liter of water poured little by little while stirring. Stir slowly so that the soap does not produce a lot of foam. Then stir while pressing so that the soap dissolves.

Once dissolved, strain the soap while continuing to add water so that there is no more sediment. Next, transfer it to the jug containing the dishwashing soap. Pour in the soap while straining it. Then stir slowly so that it is evenly mixed and there is no foam.

After that, add a maximum of 2 liters of water gradually while stirring slowly. This portion of water can be adjusted to the desired thickness. If so, let it sit until the foam disappears.

Then, transfer the soap into a bottle. The soap that was originally 640 ml can be made into 3 liters. The texture of the soap is still thick and guaranteed to be rough when used to clean oily kitchen utensils.

Since it was uploaded in April 2023, this video has been watched more than 42 thousand times. A number of netizens seemed interested in how to increase the amount of dishwashing soap. Even through the comments column, there were netizens who gave direct responses.

"Thanks, bro, for the info," said YouTube @putrinayla5043.

"Yes, great," said YouTube @eennurhasanah7907.

"Which is better, the one mixed with baking soda?" asked YouTube @madumamarlina928.

"We suspect that the Sunlight product formula currently marketed by manufacturers is different from the formula in previous years, so the results are less suitable if mixed with baking soda or table salt. That's why we recommend a combination of these two products to multiply the dishwashing soap," explained YouTube Live HAQQ.
