First, prepare the rice you want to cook. Because he lives alone in a boarding house, this time the video owner only cooked 1 portion of rice, namely half a cup of rice.
Even though it cooks a little, the rice this time won't burn and the results are just right because you use the right amount. He said that measuring rice and water uses a ratio of 1: 2.
"Take note, the measurements for rice : water, 1 : 2," he continued.

Because he uses half a cup of rice, the owner of this video uses one cup of water to cook the rice. Put the rice in an electric pot, followed by pouring water into the pot. Then, turn on the electric pot and cover until it boils.
Once boiling, reduce the heat level on the electric pot. Then, open the lid and stir until smooth. So it doesn't burn or stick.

If the water has soaked into the rice or has run out, prepare an electric steamer and transfer the uncooked rice to the steamer. Then pour enough raw water into the pan. Then place the steamer on top of the pan and cover again. Now, just wait for the rice to cook.
"And just wait until it's cooked," said the Instagram account @masakdikos.

A few moments later, check the texture of the rice again, if it's still wet it means it's not cooked. So, close it again and wait until it is completely cooked. Cooked rice usually has the characteristics of not being sticky when touched, having a distinctive aroma, and more steam coming out of the rice.
If these signs appear, turn off the electric pot, and transfer the rice to a plate, and the rice is ready to be eaten with side dishes according to taste. Tri only takes about 20 minutes, you know. It's easy, right, want to try?
