Brilio.net - The stove is often one of the dirtiest parts of the stove. This is not surprising because its position at the bottom of the cooking device makes it vulnerable to food spills. The stains caused by the spill then dry out and form a crust because they are continuously exposed to the heat of the stove fire.
Ideally, this stove should be cleaned regularly. After every cooking, the stove burner needs to be cleaned of remaining dirt. Even better, once a week, the cleaning process can be more thorough (deep cleaning).
Unfortunately, until now many people still ignore the cleanliness of their stove stoves. As a result, the crust stains become thicker as the intensity of stove use increases. However, the thicker the crust, the more difficult it is to clean.
Basically, you need a special process when you want to clean this stove burner. Usually some people even go so far as to soak the stove burner in hot water first. This is done to make the crust on the stove softer, so it will be easier to brush and clean.
However, soaking the stove usually takes a long time. It can take hours or even a whole day just to soak the stove so that the crust becomes softer. With this method, of course you have to spend quite a long time just cleaning the stove burner.
In fact, if you know the trick, the stove actually doesn't need to be soaked that long , you know. There is a special trick that makes the stove stove easier to clean without needing to soak it in hot water. Well, this trick was shared by YouTube user Rudi Albughury in one of the uploaded videos.
Reported by BrilioFood from YouTube, Rudi Albughury on Monday (29/4), initially he showed the condition of the stove which was very black and crusty. On some sides, white mold even appears which makes the appearance of the stove even dirtier. After investigating, this condition is caused because the stove stove is rarely cleaned.
Then, to eradicate the crust which was already thick, he used three kitchen ingredients, namely baking soda, lime juice and dish soap. So, as for the tools used, he used an old toothbrush, kitchen cloth and old newspapers. This newspaper is used to remove dry crust on the surface of the stove.

To use it, just take a piece of newspaper. Then just squeeze enough. If so, rub the limescale stains on the surface of the stove using the newspaper. The rough surface of the newspaper will make the dry crust on the stove burner fall off when rubbed. Do this process until you feel the crust has reduced a lot.

Next, mix the cleaning agent. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of dish soap, and lime juice. Now, stir all these ingredients until smooth.

The next step, apply the liquid to the crusty surface of the stove. While applying, rub gently using an old toothbrush. Do this scrubbing process until the crust is completely gone and clean.

After cleaning, soak the stove in clean water. Or you can also just rinse it directly under running water. If so, wipe the stove burner using a dry cloth. That way, the stove will look cleaner and shine like new again.

How do you store limes so they don't get stiff?
To keep the lime fresh and not stiff, you can store it in the refrigerator. Place the lime in a container that is not too tight so that air can still flow, for example in a plastic bag or container with holes. Make sure to clean the limes before storing and try to remove any moisture around them with kitchen paper. In this way, you can extend the shelf life of limes and keep their texture fresh for longer.
