Don't panic when the power goes out, because there are ways to keep the refrigerator temperature cool. According to insider.com, one solution is to place an ice pack in the freezer during a power outage. If you don't have an ice pack, you can make your own at home with simple tools and materials.
The tools needed are none other than a container and plain water.

The prepared container, fill with plain water. In the video, he uses tap water. Just fill the water until it reaches 3/4 of the container, not to the brim. Cover the container and set aside.
"Don't fill it to the brim, because when water turns into ice, it will expand," he said.

Next, first remove the food or whatever is in the freezer. If the freezer is empty, put in the container filled with water. Then arrange the food that was removed earlier on top of the container. The container has the same function as an ice pack, which is useful for keeping the refrigerator temperature cold even if there is a power outage.
