If not treated quickly, a gas leak can cause a fire or explosion. Therefore, many people immediately rack their brains to close the gas cylinder leak. One way is to put pieces of rubber sandals in the gas cylinder holes. This is considered to be able to prevent leaks that appear when installing the regulator.

However, apart from using rubber sandals, there are actually used items that can also be used to deal with hissing and leaking gas cylinders, you know. Well, this used item was also used by the owner of the Instagram account @dibasenja. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he only relied on pieces of rubber bands.

Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @dibasenja on Saturday (27/7), the first thing that must be done is to release the regulator first. After that, also remove the red or rubber seal from the gas cylinder.

Next, take a piece of rubber band. Then make sure the length is the same as the width of the gas cylinder hole. After that, insert the rubber band that was cut earlier. You can use scissors or a screwdriver that has a pointed tip so that the rubber can be installed tightly.

If the rubber is installed, then insert the red seal or rubber that came with the gas cylinder. Make sure they are installed tightly and do not block the holes in the tube. Finally, reinstall the regulator as usual. After that, you can check the fire on the gas stove.

"If the gas is still making noise and the flame is still difficult to get out, it means something isn't right and repeat the steps," said Instagram @dibasenja.
