Generally, some people who have allergies will avoid certain foods to prevent symptoms from appearing. Avoiding 1 or 2 certain foods might sound normal, right? However, a woman named Jenna Gestetner can only consume 13 types of food because she has more than 100 allergies.

Reported by BrilioFood from mirror.co.uk on Thursday (1/8), this 21 year old woman suffers from a rare immunological condition called Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). This syndrome can trigger allergic reactions to almost any food.

Since childhood, Jenna admitted that she often experienced symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, allergic skin reactions and shortness of breath. Before she could eat 13 foods, this woman from Los Angeles admitted that she could only eat nine foods. This experience is often shared via personal social media, including TikTok.

"I have more than 100 allergies and I can only eat 13 foods, so I eat the same thing every day," said Jenna via her TikTok account @jennaxhealth.

Struggling with allergies from an early age, Jenna admitted that avoiding certain foods was the only effective solution. After various trials, he could only consume turkey, fish, cucumber, green beans, zucchini, lime, chia seeds, olive oil and glucose supplements. By taking a number of special drugs, this woman was able to eat dates, grapes, raspberries and pears recently.

These various foods were then created by themselves into various menus. Through her TikTok account, Jenna has shared a number of menus made with the same food ingredients. For example, preparing zucchini with grilled fish, mixing cucumber with zucchini, or cooking zucchini until it looks like noodles.

Even though she has added a new diet , Jenna admits that her life is still challenging because there are so many foods that have to be limited. This also often makes Jenna mentally burdened because she has to be more selective when traveling. Not only does she limit food, this woman also often feels tired when traveling.

"If I go on holiday or attend a family or friend's social event, I can't eat the food that other people are eating. That makes things a little more complicated, I often bring my own food to someone's house," said Jenna.

However, Jenna has a different daily menu list so she doesn't get bored. For example, at breakfast, this woman usually eats a bowl of dates topped with chia seeds. For lunch, he eats a plate of grilled zucchini and dinner is fish or turkey with green beans. On the other hand, the snack that is usually consumed is fresh raspberries.
