Brilio.net - Stainless steel cookware has several advantages, such as resistance to rust and lighter weight compared to iron or steel utensils. This makes stainless steel pots and pans a popular choice in many kitchens.

Stainless steel pans are known for their ability to heat food quickly and evenly, and retain heat for a long time. The non-reactive nature of this material also allows for safe use in a variety of cooking without the risk of surface damage .

Despite its many advantages, stainless steel cookware care requires special attention, especially when newly purchased. Generally, new stainless steel pans have fine stains from factory polish that cannot be removed by regular washing. If left untreated, these stains have the potential to contaminate cooked food.

To overcome this problem, special cleaning techniques are needed so that stainless steel pans are safe to use. The right cleaning method can help remove these fine stains and ensure the safety of using the equipment.

A YouTube user named YULIANA KWOK shares simple tips for cleaning stainless steel pans. In her video, she explains that washing directly with soap is not the right step. Instead, there is a special technique that is effective in removing fine stains on the surface of stainless steel pans.

"Cleaning a stainless steel pan for the first time is very important, yes. Because it removes all the dirt or chemicals used by the factory to make this pan. So we have to wash it this way so that it is safe for us to use," explained YouTube YULIANA KWOK, as reported by BrilioFood on Monday (30/9).

The method is to fill the pot with water until full. Then place it on the stove and pour in the vinegar. For large stainless steel pots, use enough vinegar so that fine stains can fall off completely.

According to YouTube user YULIANA KWOK, this vinegar can effectively remove fine stains and chemicals that are still stuck on the surface of the pan. However, if you don't have vinegar, you can replace it with lime juice. Both ingredients have a high acid content that can remove stubborn stains.

After adding vinegar, cover the pan. Turn on the stove and boil until the water boils. When it boils, turn off the stove and let the water cool down to make it easier to wash.

When it is cold, drain the water. Then wash it thoroughly with a sponge and dish soap. Rub all parts evenly to clean it. Finally, rinse with running water and dry. Now, this stainless steel pan is ready to use.

In addition to pans, this method can be applied to clean other cooking utensils or cutlery made of stainless steel. Easy and safe, right?
