"He used to ask, um, some of my friends have taken off (their hijab), like that. But it didn't get to the point where he wanted to take it off like that." Atalia said, quoted by brilio.net from TikTok/@aroundbandung.com, Sunday (7/4).
He said that before finally deciding to remove the hijab, Zara invited Atalia to discuss and argue. He believes that his son always asks first.
"But the point is, this is the result of a discussion, he is a child who asked his parents first. So we also had a debate first," added Atalia.
Not necessarily allowing it, Atalia also set conditions for her daughter who was now growing up. "The condition is that he is obliged to find out the depth of the religion we hope for." he said.
Atalia hopes that with this process the princess can find out more and learn more about religion. But he also hopes that Zara doesn't ask the wrong person.
"He's looking more and more, researching again, delving deeper, I just hope he doesn't ask the wrong person." he said.
Regarding her decision, Atalia finally agreed. He invited Zara if this was part of his happiness. However, he asked Zara not to forget one condition, namely studying religion and finding out again.
"Only when he decided, I said that I couldn't do it at all, because you felt this was part of your happiness, mango, but I said the conditions earlier," he added.
After a long discussion, Atalia was suddenly shocked by Zara's post. Apparently he did not expect that his daughter would announce it to the public.
"The surprise is, how come it was posted, but it's called a young person, Masya Allah," said Atalia.
However, currently, Atalia has agreed not to allow Zara to open social media because of the overwhelming response from netizens. Not even 2 days later, the post was flooded with more than 38 thousand comments.
The woman who is familiarly called Mrs. Cinta asked for prayers for her daughter, and she admitted that she would continue to accompany her. "Whatever it is, someone's life journey. I also accompany the process in such a way. We know that each person experiences different trauma," said Atalia.
