Brilio.net - Andre Taulany shared his experience when facing jokes from other comedians that sometimes offended him. This senior comedian chose to remain calm even though he often received unpleasant jokes from his colleagues.
The man who has been around the world of comedy admitted that he understands the situation when dealing with people who are not from a comedian background. According to him, they are just adapting and still do not really understand the corridors in the world of comedy.
His professional attitude is evident from the way he responds to jokes that offend him. The comedian who often appears on various television shows prefers to hold back even though he sometimes feels hurt.
" I'm a person like this, when someone makes the wrong joke at me, I never want to counter. I never want to fight back like that or I don't want to be defensive and say that it makes the atmosphere awkward like that. I just let it go ," said Andre Taulany, quoted by brilio.net from YouTube CURHAT BANG Denny Sumargo, on Friday (8/10).

Andre has a strong principle in responding to inappropriate jokes. For him, not everyone understands how to do good comedy.
This understanding makes him wiser in responding to every joke. He chooses to prioritize professionalism in working.
"Although I might be hurt. He said some unpleasant things, but I didn't show it because I think this person is not a comedian by profession, this person's specialty is not being a comedian," he added.
Decades of experience in the comedy world have made Andre understand the limits of telling jokes. He realizes that not everyone has the same understanding of the world of comedy.
"But he's trying, right, maybe he doesn't understand, there are corridors that he's actually not allowed to enter, but he doesn't know because he's not a comedian, he's not a comedian," he said.
He understands this because the beginner still doesn't understand. According to him, they are adapting because they don't understand being a comedian so they let go.

" So it's okay, he doesn't understand. He doesn't mean it either, he's just adapting. It's just because he doesn't know how to joke, so sometimes he lets it slip ," he added.
Andre often sees situations where someone makes inappropriate jokes to seniors. This experience made him understand the importance of knowing the limits of comedy.
As a senior comedian, Andre feels the need to set a good example in his behavior. He wants to show that comedy is not just about making people laugh, but also about respecting each other.
"Sometimes, he's not a comedian, I'm with a senior comedian like that. Suddenly he calls this senior comedian with bad words, but in a comedy context, that's fine, just what I mean is, you have to know your position," he said.
