The man who has worked in the entertainment industry since he was 3 years old revealed that he has lost communication with his biological father since 2022.
The situation worsened when Baim admitted that he no longer received a living from his father, Halil Fuad Alkatiri. Baim's sad story became even more heartbreaking when he revealed that he had never felt the fruits of his own labor since he was a child.
However, Baim emphasized that he had no intention of asking his father to return all the money he had earned. His main goal in speaking out was so that his father would contact him directly without an intermediary.

However, behind that simple hope, there was a deep wound due to his father's words calling him a "failed child". His father's statement certainly hurt Baim's heart. He felt disappointed and could not accept the label given by his father, considering his great contribution to family life since an early age.
" He said to my mother, you have failed to educate your children. You failed to educate Baim, and Baim is a failed child. I was called a failed child, like? Wow, without me he wouldn't even be able to eat ," Baim Alkatiri said.
He wanted to emphasize that he was not a failed child, but rather became the backbone of the family since a young age. Even since he was little, he had earned billions of rupiah through filming.

" Who is his money factory if not me? It's me, you know. I'm a kid who earns billions, you know. Not to be arrogant, but that's a fact ," he said.
Baim's disappointment deepened when he remembered that he had never done anything wrong. He felt treated unfairly by his father who should have given him support and appreciation.
Baim also emphasized that he always tries to be a good child. He cannot accept his father's accusation that he is a child who failed to be educated.
" I was a child who never had a problem with that, I never did anything wrong. And he conveniently said that I was a failure. I failed to be educated, while I didn't do anything ," he explained.
Despite being hurt, Baim tried to remain wise in dealing with the situation. He chose not to retaliate by calling his father a failure as a parent, even though he said many people thought so.

" I never said he failed as a parent, though. Even though everyone knows he failed as a father. Many people fail as partners, but I rarely see them fail as parents, you know ," he added.
The term of failure was received about 2 to 3 years ago. In fact, Baim tried to be a good child who loved his parents even though his father's condition was like that.
" When he said something like that, it was like, oh, I'm a failure, it turns out. OK, if he thinks like that, that's fine ," he said.
The former child actor, now 19, has decided to let go of the burdens of the past. He is currently trying to accept the situation.
