Brilio.net - Ayu Ting Ting could not hide her anger after her only daughter, Bilqis, became the target of netizens' criticism. Bilqis was sharply criticized for allegedly mispronouncing the lyrics when singing the song "Sheesh" by the South Korean girl group, BabyMonster, at the 2024 Amazing Kids Favorite Awards on a private television station.
Bilqis' confident and energetic appearance apparently wasn't enough to avoid harsh criticism from netizens. Although Ayu Ting Ting has given praise through her personal Instagram account, negative comments still emerged.
The incident began with the upload of a video of Ayu and Bilqis singing the song "Sheesh". Several social media users commented on Bilqis' lyrical error. "Since when are Sheesh lyrics like that," wrote one of the critical accounts.
Ayu also did not accept her child being criticized by netizens. She gave a harsh reply in the comment column of the account.
"Why do you have a problem with a small child, huh? The next time I started crying, hahahahaha, I'm sorry, even though your small child is julitting, where are you human at heart," replied Ayu Ting Ting.
Not accepting her child being the butt of the joke, Ayu Ting Ting immediately responded to various comments criticizing Bilqis in an angry tone. She explained that she rarely responds to negative comments, but this time it was different because it involved her young child.
"I rarely do that, well, my little kids and my child too. If I'm the one being said something like that, just let it be," said Ayu Ting Ting at her residence, quoted by brilio.net from Liputan6.com.
Ayu admitted that she was filming at the time and did nothing. She was furious when she saw negative comments from an account called a "fake account" about her child.
"Yesterday, I was filming, I wasn't doing anything. I opened my cellphone and saw a comment from a fake account of a little kid, when I caught it, he cried and screamed. Well, as a mother, there is a limit to her patience, it's human, she read my comment and replied," Ayu Ting Ting added.
Ayu again quoted her response to netizens who were mean to Bilqis. She questioned the conscience of netizens who insulted little children and compared Bilqis' achievements with theirs.
"It's like this, 'You're a small child julidin, where is your heart? If you want to julidin, where is your conscience? At that age, my child can already perform, at my child's age you're the most likely to cry in the corner while sucking'. Just tease me," he explained.
As a parent, Ayu is ready to be the front guard to defend her daughter. She asked that no child anywhere be the object of bullying.
"I never replied, but this is a small child. Not just Bilqis, for all small children. Please don't use them as material for bullying or crime, if you are human of course you have feelings," he explained.
For now, Ayu is still limiting Bilqis in using social media. However, the child knows about the insults addressed to her by netizens.
"You know, it's just normal, just relax. Until now, I haven't let him play on social media. TikTok is also under my control," said Ayu Ting Ting.
