Brilio.net - The appearance of dark spots on the face is a skin problem that often disturbs the appearance of many people. Not only does it make your face color uneven, dark spots on your face also hinder the process of your facial skin becoming bright and radiant. There are two main factors that cause dark spots to appear on the face, namely sunlight and acne scars.

Black spots that are triggered by sunlight are known as black spots . The shape is in the form of a collection of dots to dark spots that appear in several areas of the face with a darker color than the original skin. The appearance of black spots is caused by sunlight having UVB waves which stimulate melanocyte cells in the skin to produce more melanin, aka skin color pigment.

This buildup will then appear as spots on the surface of the skin, giving a dull impression. Not only that, dark spots on the face can also be caused by inflammatory acne. These acne scars appear due to damage to skin tissue due to acne which causes wounds in the skin. In the process, when new skin cells grow to repair the damage, this can actually bring about excessive melanin content.

As a result, black marks appear at the site of the acne, which in medical terms is known as PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation). Even though this is normal, for some people, the appearance of black spots on the face is quite disturbing. To fade black spots, there are many options you can do. Starting from using the right skincare or treatment at a beauty clinic.

But apart from that, you can try to overcome this problem by using natural ingredients that are no less effective than using serum. One of the ingredients that can be used to remove black spots is a mixture of rice water, as shared by @ashus_mantra on Instagram, reported by briliobeauty.net on Monday (5/2).

Reporting from Clinikally, rice water is rich in B complex vitamins, amino acids, minerals and antioxidants which help repair skin cell damage due to pigmentation. Apart from that, the ferulic acid contained in rice water has an important role as a skin lightening agent. In fact, this content is also effective in fighting free radicals and reducing inflammation of the skin.

With these ingredients, rice water can inhibit melanin production, thereby reducing the risk of dark skin due to black spots appearing. To use the materials above, you can do the following simple steps.
