Brilio.net - As we age, our skin is increasingly exposed to heavy activity, causing changes in the structure and texture of the skin. One area that is prone to drastic changes is the heel. Common problems that occur on the heel are cracked and chapped skin.
This area is often neglected in skin care, while the soles of the feet are often exposed to rough surfaces such as the ground and floors. This causes dust and sand to stick, reducing the skin's already minimal moisture due to the lack of natural oil glands. As a result, the soles of the feet become dry and prone to cracking.
Do you know that if not treated immediately, cracked heels can lead to wounds? Well, before that problem arises, you can overcome it using natural ingredients. One of them is by utilizing beeswax, almond oil, and olive oil as demonstrated by @tattvalogyin via Instagram, reported by briliobeauty.net on Saturday (7/12).

Beeswax or beeswax contains vitamin A which helps maintain skin moisture and reduces dryness. In addition, beeswax can also relieve inflammation on cracked heels due to its extraordinary healing and moisturizing properties. Plus, beeswax can form a protective layer and lock natural moisture into the skin of the heel area, thereby reducing the potential for cracks on the heel.

Almond oil is rich in vitamin E which functions as an antioxidant to protect the skin from free radical damage. Almond oil also provides deep moisture to the skin due to its omega-3 fatty acid and antioxidant content. This makes this oil effective in helping to eliminate dryness and increase skin elasticity. In addition, almond oil has anti-inflammatory properties that can relieve inflammation around cracked heels.

Olive oil is widely known for its skin-loving properties. It contains vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and polyphenols that help deeply moisturize the skin. Olive oil also has antibacterial properties that help protect the skin from infection. This makes olive oil an effective ingredient in treating dry and cracked heels.
So, you can use the three ingredients above in the following way:
Tools and materials:
