Actor Reza Rahadian now can thank himself after his compelling performance in "Rudy Habibie" earned him the Best Actor award in the 57th Asia Pacific Film Festival (APFF).
"For the film 'Rudy Habibie' I was awarded with Best Actor," said Reza at the Sinematek Indonesia office, Thursday.
Reza who was unable to attend the ceremony due to his shooting schedule, admitted that he could not believe the news when he first heard it.
"I'm really glad. I'm really grateful because this is my first award in Asia Pacific. I can only be thankful," said Reza.

Reza however, was not alone as another Indonesian talent as composer Tya Subiakto won the Best Music Stylist for her masterpiece in the same film.
The Asia Pacific Film Festival itself is a film festival held annually since 1954 in an Asian country designated by the Board of Directors of the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific.
