Brilio.net/en - French artist Lor-K recycles old mattress by transforming them into piece of art! Her project EAT ME is taking place in the streets of Paris. Sandwiches, slice of pizza, piece of cake, sushis or waffles, her delicious creations can be found on random street corners.
Initially a business student, Lor-K became a street artist recently after she started her art studies. She expresses her art through abandoned objects that she finds in the street and that are meant to be discarded. Her overall goal is to make the passer-by aware of the amount of trash in the street of Paris and force them to look at their daily lives in a different way.
Not everything can be recycled yet and this is where her work matters: she makes something cool and fun out of it, so anyone can do. Instead of buying new all the time, maybe rethink what else we could use for the same purposes. At the end of the day, all the pieces she created could have been done with raw new materials, but she shows that it can actually looks cool and be entirely made out by things people just discarded.
