An ode to Indonesian classic horror.

If all devils are locked up during month of Ramadan, then it's about the time for them to unleash themselves. That's probably what Rapi Film studio had in their mind when they released the first teaser for Joko Anwar's latest effort, a remake of 1982 Indonesian cult horror "Pengabdi Setan", or "Satan's Slaves".

The one-minute trailer gives a glimpse of the main character starred by Tara Basro, walking up the stairs that leads her into a room and the rest is scream!

If the reputation of the original film itself is a great start to get us hooked, then Joko's expertise on dark genre shall add the hype to the remake.

"Pengabdi Setan" also features Bront Palarae, Dimas Aditya and Asmara Abigail and is scheduled to come out to theaters this year.
