In Japanese, onsen means natural hot spring and they have become a part of Japanese culture. Takaragawa is one of the best and most scenic natural hot springs in the country, with its beautiful riverside surroundings combined with its healing water. The onsen has four large outdoor pools, three mixed and one women's only.
