There are loads of great places in Jakarta for you to get wrapped up in this augmented reality game

Retno Wulandari   01 August 2016 12:09 -  If you spend your weekends and weekdays glued to your phone, going to and from the office, walking to a resto for lunch or anything else, there’s nothing to be ashamed of! And hey, you're moving around and burning calories.

But walking around a lot, especially in the Jakarta heat, while trying to catch Pokémon can be exhausting. Don't worry, we've got your back.

Here's a list of popular places in Jakarta that not only boast Pokestops, but also real cafes and restaurants and plenty of other things to see and do.

1. The National Museum

The National Museum has recently opened its doors to Pokémon GO-ers who can now catch their monsters while exploring the museum’s ancient Hindu-Buddhist artifacts and much more. You definitely need to give this museum adventure a try!

2. Lotte Shopping Avenue

This mall itself is built in a concept that allows you to explore without having to go in and out of too many stores. Clothes, accessories and everything else are “scattered” all around the mall, making it easy for you to shop around while catching monsters.

And there's a gym! In the game we mean, but also in the mall!

3. Plaza Festival

Nestled in the hustle and bustle of Kuningan, Plaza Festival is a favorite haunt of young people, especially from Perbanas university next door. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes here, and some of which are open 24 hours. But the youngsters love Plaza Festival for its variety of things to do, such as bowling, billiards, futsal, wall climbing and even martial arts. That all makes it an ideal place to get fit while hunting down some pocket monsters.
