I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali received an award from Airport Council International as the world’s third best service airport 2016.
Last year, the airport almost got a perfect score, 4.92 from scale 1 to 5 for the category of airport with 15-25 million passengers each year.
“Based on the result of customers’ level of satisfaction in 2016, we managed to improve our quality score from 4.74 in 2015 to 4.92,” said the airport’s General Manager Yanus Suprayogi to Antara.
This year, Ngurah Rai plans to continue improving their service including thickening its asphalt runway, providing navigation tools and adding more facilities for flight operations.
“Now we’re working on overlay runway. This year we will also make rapid exit taxiway to optimize the use of runway,” Yanus said.
