Another day, another bizzare case happened in Indonesia.
Four 6th grade students of 3 Lowokwaru State Elementary School, Malang were electrocuted by their principal, TJY, who saidit was for health therapy.
The students, RA, MK, MZ and MA, suffered trauma and pain in some of their body because of the incident. One of the students, RA, even had a nosebleed. RA's mother said the incident happenedon Tuesday morning, after Dhuha prayer.
"Four students were asked to go tothemosque, while the others returned (to class). Some curious students peekedfrom behind the windows. Two were told to bring a chair from the principal's room," she said.
The four chosen studentswere asked to meditate and listen to the principal's lecture unclear about what. TJY then carried out his so-called theraphy by using a device that was plugged into a power outlet.
"[They were] given a lecture, then a game and [instruction to] meditate. They were told to close their eyes, the agreement was anyone would be punished if opened the eyes, there was such a threat," saidRA's mother to reporters.
The students dared not to open their eyes when TJY put a voltage tester pen in the students' head.
"If it is turned on, that means you lied much," said RA's mother imitating her son. "He said to the students it was a lie detector test. But then he said it was health therapy to the students' parents.
Currently, the local government through the Ministry of Education office has summoned TJY and the parents to testify further about the case.
