"When he was at home he was approached by the alleged perpetrators, namely two people. Then he said he would get assistance from Plupuh sub-district, namely in the form of 400 thousand in cash," said Suparno, quoted from YouTube Liputan 6 on Wednesday 19 June 2024.

"I was at home alone. As far as I remember, when I was hypnotized I was told to buy coffee and cigarettes," said Wagiyanti.

Wagiyanti does not store her assets in the house. But at the back of his residence, it was only covered with a tarpaulin. There was a land certificate, IDR 20 million in cash and also a number of gold jewellery.

All his property was then taken away by the perpetrator when he returned. The incident occurred at around 1 pm on Sunday (16/6).

"Because Wagiyanti lived alone, the house ended up being empty. With the opportunity for the house to be empty, the perpetrator finally took valuables that had been hidden behind the house," said Suparno.
