Brilio.net/en - These days, with easier access to international travel, many people enjoy exploring new places for a lot of different reasons. There are those who take a much needed vacation taking time to just sit and relax. Others appreciate searching new places for exotic antiques to add to their growing collections. And, dont we all know people who travel just because its trendy? If everybody else is doing it, then so will they! But some people have a very different purpose in mind when they book their tickets: they want to make a difference in a childs day.

One such big-hearted person is Joshua Kelly, from Brisbane, Australia. Joshua told us that he enjoys teaching children in need, as a volunteer. Ill be in Indonesia for two months and I want to help teach English in an orphanage, or children with special needs, Josh told to brilio.net/en, Monday (7/9).

This is the first time Josh has visited Indonesia, especially Jogja. He said that his desire to teach was inspired by a friend, who had been a volunteer teacher in China. Teaching children is very interesting. Just seeing their smiles is like an injection of passion for me.

Since he first arrived in Yogyakarta, Josh has volunteered several times to teach English in different schools. He has also been a volunteer teacher with 1000 Guru...Travelling & Teaching, Jogja community.

And, Josh isnt stopping there! At the end of the month, he has even more new adventures scheduled! Hes planning on visiting a few other countries before he finally heads back home to Australia.
