Brilio.net - The construction of the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) , the new capital city of the Republic of Indonesia, continues in Penajam Paser Utara Regency and part of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Although still under construction, this ambitious project is scheduled to be inaugurated on Indonesian Independence Day, August 17, 2024.
After the inauguration, the operation of the IKN will continue. For that, thousands of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will move from Jakarta to the IKN.
Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas estimates that the ASN transfer process to the IKN will be carried out in August this year. In this initial stage, at least 2,500 ASN will be shifted.
In total, until December 2024, the Ministry of PANRB estimates that approximately 12 thousand ASN consisting of JPT Madya, JPT Pratama, Administrator Positions, Functional Positions, and Executors from 38 Ministries and institutions will gradually move to the IKN.

The theme was chosen because it coincides with three important moments. Starting from the welcoming of the new capital city in the Indonesian Capital, the important moment of the change of president, and towards Indonesia Emas in 2045.
