Brilio.net - Recently, a viral video has been circulating on social media about a girl who cruelly abused her biological mother using a machete, on Tuesday (24/9) yesterday evening. The incident shocked residents of Bontoala District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi.

Seen in the video which lasts several seconds, the perpetrator mercilessly swung the machete at the mother's body cruelly until she fell down covered in blood.

The high fence of the house made it difficult for local residents to help the victim. Not only that, the fence was also allegedly locked. Because of the help of many residents, they managed to break down the gate.

The perpetrator with the initials SR was successfully arrested and secured by the authorities. Meanwhile, the mother, allegedly named Siti Syamsiah, aged 64, was immediately rushed to the Jala Ammari Hospital, Lantamal VI Makassar.

It is suspected that the incident occurred because the perpetrator did not accept being asked to help clean the house. In return, the child cruelly abused his mother with a machete.

"The perpetrator is his own biological child who did it because he did not accept being told off by his mother to clean the house. Feeling offended, he finally committed the assault using a machete," said Police Commissioner Muhammad Idris, quoted by brilio.net from liputan6.sctv, Wednesday (25/9).
