Brilio.net - Recently a woman named Riri Robiani attracted attention because of her life story. She is willing to care for her husband, Yasir, who has suffered from chronic kidney failure for the last nine years. He often shares this touching story through content on his personal TikTok social media.
The woman from Bogor said that her husband was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2015. This was explained by the couple when they appeared on dr. Richard Lee, MARS, Monday, (22/7).
Riri said that the ordeal came after the two had only been married for one year. Yasir himself was confused because he had never felt any pain or had no ancestry.
Yasir began experiencing symptoms of kidney failure in 2015. These symptoms included frequent hiccups, body swelling and shortness of breath.
"First of all, the symptoms appear. The symptoms are swelling of the body. Then when you sleep on your back, you often hiccup, then you have the smell of rusty iron in your mouth, something like that," said Riri.

Riri then took her husband to the doctor. Unexpectedly, the examination results showed very high urea and creatinine levels. The doctor who examined him immediately stated that Yasir had very severe kidney failure and had to immediately undergo dialysis.
"Your urea creatinine was high, the doctor immediately panicked. You have really serious kidney failure. You have to do dialysis," said Yasir, imitating the doctor's words.
Hearing the doctor's diagnosis, Riri admitted that she was very surprised, because previously she thought this disease only existed in soap operas. They initially felt doubtful and refused to immediately undergo dialysis.
For about four months, the couple tried various alternative and herbal remedies, but there was no change. Finally, they decided to undergo dialysis for nine years now.
"Approximately 4 months, we tried alternatives, we tried herbs. But it turned out there was no change. In fact, it got worse, so in the end we ended up having dialysis like it or not," explained the couple.

For many years, Riri Robiani has faithfully accompanied her husband to undergo laundering treatment more than 900 times, twice a week. This condition is certainly difficult for both of them.
At first, Yasir's parents considered releasing Riri back to her family. They don't want to be a burden on their daughter-in-law because of their child's health condition.
"My parents-in-law, Yasir's father and mother, were immediately sick from the start. Let's take over our responsibility to take care of Yasir from Riri. Riri can go home," explained Riri.
However, Riri firmly rejected this idea and chose to remain loyal to her husband. She admitted that she was sincere with her current condition and accepted all her husband's shortcomings. This is not only because of love, but he also believes that there is wisdom behind their struggle.
"Love, because Yasir was that good before he got married, it doesn't necessarily mean that Yasir will be a good person when he's healthy, I just think positively, there's always a good lesson from tests, who knows, Yasir's illness is God's way of protecting us," said Riri.

Riri also explained that one of the reasons why she didn't want to leave her husband was because she thought Yasir was an almost perfect husband. According to Riri, she always adheres to the principle of the hadith that the wife's heaven is with her husband.
"We're only in this world for a while, what we're after, after that I want to go to heaven, my heaven is here, why did I leave my heaven, that's all, I don't have any intention," said Riri.
Riri admitted that she always had support from her family. He never paid attention to what other people said about his household.
"Even if something shakes my heart, my family is full of support, as strong as the fortress of their household," said Riri.
Riri's sincere struggle to care for her husband actually moved Richard Lee. Like a windfall, Riri and Yasir's children received a scholarship from Richard Lee to study medicine.

It is known that Riri Robiani and Yasir's sons are currently still in kindergarten. Richard Lee hopes that Riri and Yasir's children can become doctors to help sick people like their father.
"I'm just giving a scholarship to his extraordinary child, I'm giving a scholarship to let his child know that I'm paying for his schooling until he becomes a doctor," said Richard Lee.
"If I have the fortune to become a doctor, I will pay for it. The important thing is that you are all willing to accept gifts from me," he said.
The story of Riri's loyalty and struggle in accompanying her husband who suffers from kidney failure has touched many people. Not a few were moved and claimed to have learned from this couple's story.
