It was noted that the restaurant was one of those listed on the boycott list to support Palestine. However, what makes netizens angry is their actions which actually make fun of the suffering of the Palestinian people.

Their video immediately went viral because it was posted by various accounts. His action immediately drew criticism from many people. Netizens are flocking to find the origin and background of this teenager.
After investigation, it turned out that the teenager who uploaded and made a video of this action was a female student from SMP Negeri 216 Jakarta. Some immediately pressured the school to take action. Therefore, through its official Instagram, SMP Negeri 216 Jakarta immediately provided clarification.
In its statement, the school said that the incident occurred outside school hours on Sunday afternoon, June 9 2024. The four teenagers stopped for lunch at a fast food restaurant after returning from a place of worship.
Furthermore, SMPN 216 revealed that the four teenagers were not registered as students at SMP Negeri 216 Jakarta. However, the person who made the video and uploaded it on Instastory Instagram was verified as a student at the school.
"The person who made the video and posted it and the owner of the insta story account is one of the class 9 students at SMPN 216 Jakarta who is also their friend," wrote the school.

Thus, the school is committed to investigating the video and regrets the actions recorded. They have summoned the student concerned and his parents to provide clarification and apologize to all parties who were harmed.
"After studying the video that has been circulating, the school really regrets and condemns the behavior in the video," wrote the statement.
"We from the school have summoned the person concerned and his parents and urged the person concerned to make a clarification and apologize to all parties who feel aggrieved by the actions they committed," he continued.
Apart from regretting it, the school feels that it has taught all its students good things. They are also committed to upholding an attitude of tolerance.
