Brilio.net - Recently, the national private television network company SCTV and Indosiar provided free heart surgery assistance to a child of a cilok seller from Garut, West Java. This assistance is provided through the Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih Foundation, which is a unique business of the Elang Mahkota Teknologi Group (EMTEK).
The child who received the assistance was named Chairul, he was diagnosed as suffering from a heart defect. At the age of 10, Chairul had difficulty carrying out daily activities. His parents, who work as cilok traders, admitted that they had no money for their son's treatment. When he was first met, Chairul was unable to walk far and was also having difficulty breathing.
"Our child is unable to walk long distances and often experiences fatigue when breathing," said Chairul's parents, as reported by Kapanlagi.com on Monday (17/6).
Due to the illness he was suffering from and the obstacles that accompanied it, YPP SCTV-Indosiar finally decided to provide assistance by providing heart surgery for Chairul. YPP SCTV-Indosiar said that this decision was a commitment to help people who need medical treatment.
Chairul, is currently undergoing surgery and treatment at EMC Pulomas Hospital, East Jakarta. Thankfully, the assistance given to Chairul provided good news. Now his condition is slowly showing positive developments. When met by YPP SCTV-Indosiar, Chairul looked happy and actively moving without experiencing fatigue.
While undergoing treatment, Chairul received full attention from health workers. YPP SCTV-Indosiar not only provided costs for heart surgery to cure his illness, but also presented him with a bicycle. The 10 year old boy then held his new bicycle with a big smile and said thank you.
YPP SCTV-Indosiar has indeed committed to providing assistance to the community, especially children in need like Chairul. This is done as a form of concern and fulfilling their hopes so that they can live better in the future.
