Baphomet, also known as the Sabbatic Goat, is a term originally used to describe an idol or a deity that the Knights Templar were accused of worshipping. Its a symbol which is often associated with deviant sects, Illuminati and other satanic activities.

However, some scholars such as Peter Partner and Malcolm Barber agree that the Baphomet was an Old French corruption of the name Muhammad. It based on an interpretation that some of the Templars, through their long military occupation, had begun absorbing Islamic ideas into their belief system, and that was seen by the Inquisitors as heresy.

The Baphomet figure in the Clash of Clans game, or also known as Clash of Clans Illuminati was uploaded by Viral4real weeks ago. Upon the release of the captured screen, it went viral and fans were starting to upload it to their social medias. Even though many gamers doubt the authenticity of the image, some of them have stopped playing the game in a heartbeat just because of the mysterious figure.

Considering the reputation of the goat head figure, it makes sense that some gamers decided to stop playing the game and have even given up their multiple accounts on it. Not only withdrawn themselves from the game, they also uninstalled the app from their gadgets, just like this one did:

The unnamed gamer also expressed his gratitude to the one who has identified the demonic figure in the first place. He has also begged for Gods forgiveness (as he believes that playing this game was a heresy) and suggested other gamers to do the same.

Further controversy from the screen included some religious arguments, as happened on the Indonesian Brilio site.
