Companys CEO, Reed Hastings in a keynote speech at the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas stated that today is the birth of a global TV network. The streaming service is now available in almost every country, incredibly reaches up to 190 countries with China as noteworthy exception for now.

For most of new countries, the service will be available in English supported by subtitles as well as adding Arabic, Korean and traditional also simplified Chinese to the list of 17 languages they already provided.

However, Reed also states that he is looking forward for the service to be accessible in China though they are still working on gaining a specific permission from the government. North Korea also wont be able to get the access likewise Syria.
