President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo arrived at polling station 04 on Jl. Tanah Abang Timur Dalam, No. 15, Central Jakarta at around 10 a.m. today to casttheir ballots in the Jakarta Gubernatorial election.
The polling station was decorated with Javanese decoration and the committees were in traditional attire, ready to welcome the Surakarta-born president.

Jokowi and Iriana was accompanied by State Secretary Minister Pratikno.

The president later greeted the press waiting for him.
"As citizens of Jakarta citizen, my wife and I have exercised our right to vote in the Jakarta Gubernatorial election,"he said.

He also hoped Jakarta can resume its activities and the citizens canunite.
"Regional election is a democracy party. Do not let differences in our political choices tear us and our unity apart. We expect everyone could return as a unity after the election. We all could do it," said Jokowi.
