Brilio.net - One of the animals that is often disturbing and a pest for humans is rats. For farmers, rats are a scourge that often destroys rice plants in rice fields that are about to be harvested. Apart from that, they also often wander from house to house. Apart from destroying things and making the house dirty, they also have the potential to carry disease.

It's natural that many people try to get rid of him in various ways. Start using traps , poison, rat glue or by hunting them directly. Each method certainly has its own consequences. And, of all the methods mentioned, the results are not necessarily satisfactory.

Talking about getting rid of mice, instead use adhesive glue or poison. The anti-mainstream method used by the man in the TikTok video to get rid of mice is a success that makes you grin. In the video uploaded by @rudolf_menyuke on Wednesday (24/4), this man has a creative way to get rid of these pests from his house.

"Emotional because rats often bother me," wrote the account owner in the caption, quoted by brilio.net from @rudolf_menyuke.

Instead of traps or rat poison, this man just smeared used cooking oil on the pipe which is the way in and out of the rats. Using cotton wool, the oil is applied vertically on the surface of the pipe installed towards the roof. He smeared it on the center of the pipe more than three times.

Who knows? In the next moment, it is shown that the cooking oil applied to the pipe succeeded in making the rat slip and not be able to climb the pipe.

The moment when the mouse is exhausted because it slipped is enough to make you grin. It seemed the rat was shocked by the oil trap given by the man. In the end, the rat fell and failed to climb the pipe. He immediately went down to the floor and hid behind the items there.

Even though at the end of the video it is not known whether the rat was caught or escaped via another route, this strange idea succeeded in inviting netizens to comment. Several people related that the rats that roamed their houses often climbed the water pipes when they wanted to catch them.

Until this article was published, the video had been watched more than 13.8 million times, with more than 16 thousand comments and 924 thousand likes on TikTok.

"Rats are vengeful, you know, if we reply they will definitely reply again," said the account @heycallistaaa.

"The mouse: Panic, don't panic, don't panic!" wrote the account @mpl.id.official.

"There are a lot of rats in the in-laws' house, the in-laws usually put food on the table and only cover the plate for them to eat. Then since I've been here, I put it in a jar and then put it back in the cupboard. The rats seem to have a grudge," said the account @mamaalifa_1.
