President Joko Widodo stated 2020 will be the target year for Indonesia to be free from measles and rubella.
This statement came up during Jokowi's speech in MTsN 10 Sleman today.

We target that in 2020, Indonesia will be free from measles and rubella, Jokowi said.
Indonesias success in fighting smallpox, polio and tetanus through immunizations makesJokowi believe that the MR immunization will also succeed.
From his speech, Jokowi reminded people the danger of rubella as only less than 1 percent of Indonesia children have already got MR immunization so far.

It is supposed to be all [children who get immunization], 100 percent, this is what we have to do. That is why I fully support the campaign of national immunization so that Indonesian children can be free from measles and rubella, Jokowi said.
Jokowi also askedall Indonesians to support the immunization.
Explain to all parents, all schools, in Islamic boarding houses, Islamic schools, explain that immunization is good and really necessary for our childrens health. Lets widely open all the doors of posyandu (integrated health services post), Puskesmas (Community Health Center), hospitals.
To fight and prevent measles and rubella, Health Ministry has prepared Measles Rubella (MR) immunization program targeting children under 15 years old.
The national MR immunization program will startthis month.
