Faith in humanity restored: Iranian ‘walls of kindness’ for homeless

Iranians initiate spontaneous charity to help the homeless by donating any unused warm clothing. Tunggul Kumoro

Brilio.net/en - Walls of kindness appears in major Iranian cities as a part of supporting the homeless.

The idea seems to have spotted in the north-eastern city of Mashhad, Iran, started with a few hooks being hung up, next to the words: If you dont need it, leave it. If you need it, take it. Since then, donations in form of outfit like coats, trousers and other clothing started to appear and more of the walls of kindness began to emerge across the country.

The idea totally went viral on several social media. Many users ask the other to raise the concern in the middle of countrys economic uncertainty and not to let any homeless people down in the cold of winter.

Taken from metro.co.uk by brilio.net/en (21/12), one Facebook user wrote People are helping each other out in a country with so much wealth. Those in charge seem not to share similar concerns as that of the people.
