Brilio.net/en -Spacemen and Major Tom's of the world got a glimpse of David Bowie's latest work through a new music video released earlier today. The song isalso the title track of Bowie's forthcoming album slated to be released 8 January 2016 entitled "Blackstar."
The 10-minute beautifully lensed video features a fearless Bowie still lending his magnetic charisma in pulling viewer into another world.
Throughout the length of the song, musical tones were changed mid-way from a brooding that harkens back to Bowie's "Low" album, to a more pop approach in which we've seen Bowie deliver on numerous occasions especially during the 70s. It's worth noting that Jazz continues to be an influence on Bowie's new song.
As the opener for his forthcoming album, we can all expect what direction Bowie will take with the album. Instead of creating a straighforward pop or rock album, it seems Bowie will veer back into adventurous territory -something that set him apart from the rest in the beginning.
"Blackstar" will amazingly be Bowie's 25th studio album and will be released on 8 January 2016, the artist's 69th birthday.
